For Ocean Week, each classroom is transformed into a habitat. Students learn by essentially living within their habitats throughout the week. Check out photos from some of our classrooms!
One of the most anticipated assignments during Ocean Week is the opportunity to dissect some of the ocean's most known creatures. Fifth graders dissected a shark and had so much fun doing it - It just shows show exciting learning can be!
Thank you to the Marine Science Institute for bringing the awesome Touch Tanks for Ocean Week! The kids had a great time holding the crab, petting the fish and picking up the starfish!
It is one of the most anticipated times of the Quarry Lane school year! Classrooms are transformed into ocean habitats. Students and teachers explore the depths of the ocean through hands-on exposure. We are visited by Marine Science with a Touch Tank! Excitement is high and learning is even higher.
Please join us for the 2013 Art Stroll- a showcase of all of the visual arts, dance, theater, choir and music departments. This year will be an exciting event featuring a city-walk feel, delicious food truck cuisine, student performances, interactive art zones and much more!
Have you explored the exciting summer class of Computer FUNdamentals? Students in grades 1-5 have the opportunity to learn computer programming through 'Scratch' developed by MIT and taught at Camp Quarry by Mr. Warner! Learn more...

Congratulations to the QLS students that participated in the 2013 Congressional Art Competition. Special congratulations to Xin Zhu and Sarah Weber, who both had their art work hand selected by congressman Eric Swalwell to hang in his office in Pleasanton. Both now have pieces on display!
