Public Day Camp

The Quarry Lane School Public Day Camp was created to assist families with child care before and after school. This program, offered at our Pleasanton East campus, is available for children attending Kindergarten through fifth grade at most Pleasanton public schools. (We also offer after school care for children enrolled in The Quarry Lane Lower and Middle Schools.)

Transportation
Transportation via school vans is included as part of this program. The Quarry Lane School drivers are trained and certified, and work as school staff within the program. Children are transported according to their public school schedule. Children receiving before school care must be at the Pleasanton East campus at least thirty minutes before public school classes commence in the morning. For after school pick­up, children must be at the designated pick­up spot within five minutes of their public school's dismissal. If a child does not need to be picked up from their public school, parents are required to notify The Quarry Lane School.

Program Activities
We offer enriching before and after school activities including: homework club, arts and crafts, computer lab, outdoor games, science projects and music. Art and Soul Music Studios, an independent provider, has art and music lessons, and Karen Lynn School of Dance offers dance and tumbling classes to Preschool students.

Homework Club
In our homework club, students in grades one through five can work on school assignments and projects. Teachers work closely with students to help them accomplish homework in a timely manner. Homework club meets Monday through Thursday for one hour each day.

 Snack and Lunch
The Quarry Lane School provides an afternoon snack with milk or juice each day. If your child will be at day camp during the noon lunch hour, please send lunch to school in a lunch box or bag labeled with your child's name.  You may also purchase a lunch from our lunch service contractor.

Holiday Camp
For an additional daily charge, "Holiday Camp" is available when the public schools are closed for holidays such as Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, and Spring Break. There is no additional cost for care on minimum days and school in­service days for children registered in the program.

Tuition
Tuition and fees are paid on a monthly basis. 

A $100.00 registration fee plus one month's tuition is required as a deposit upon registration. All tuition and fees paid are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Admissions
To enroll in The Quarry Lane School Public Day Camp, please fill out a registration form and admissions agreement, and submit them with the non­-refundable/non-transferable first month's tuition and registration fee.
