The Quarry Lane School offers a variety of forums for students to grow academically and socially. 

 

All Student Associations are open to Middle School and High School students unless otherwise noted. Please note that some clubs require approval to join- contact the Mentor if you have any questions regarding joining!

Enrichment Classes at The Quarry Lane School 


Art and Soul Music

Private and semi-private music lessons are offered for students first through twelfth grade for piano, guitar, bass, drums, flute, clarinet, saxophone and voice.  http://www.artandsoulmusicstudios.com/ or ArtandSoulMusic@aol.com  

Art

In fundamental art, advanced studio art and art in design, students engage a variety of media to develop artistic elements.  

 

Dance

Dance students learn elements of hip-hop, jazz and ballet in preparation for performances throughout the year.  

 

Theater

Theater arts students take on the responsibilities of acting, singing, dancing and set design for the upper school productions. 

 

Jazz Band

Students who choose to participate in The Quarry Lane School jazz band become members of a musical performance group with wind and rhythm instruments. Jazz band rehearses each school day to develop the soundtrack for the Evening of the Arts showcases. 

 

Journalism

Students who participate in Journalism learn elements of media studies in order to write, design and produce the school newspaper, The Roar.

 

Yearbook

Yearbook students employ the latest digital design technology to lay out and produce the school annual.
